Q:Although spies are generally the master of disguise, pyros seem to cause a big fuss as to just who or what is under that mask/suit. How often do you catch a pyro without their mask and have you ever been surprised by what you saw? (Those things are a bit stifling after a while... especially after finishing a really good burning & the adrenaline wears off.)

Anonymous

It is hard to be surprised when I do not have any expectations for what might lie beneath the mask. They are human, as we all are, and I am sure anyone is capable of waving a torch around and considering themselves a ‘Pyro’. I do however applaud those who show tactic, despite what a nuisance they can be to one in my position. I cannot imagine running around in a mask like that to be all that comfortable. As concealing as they are, I much prefer the balaclava.

I am not sure about others bases, but at my RED base it is perhaps stranger to see a pyro who is always masked. I know there is a BLU pyro who dislikes me something fierce and I have never seen his face, not even when spying around, and inside, the BLU base.

On the RED base I have a group of… “friends” to whom I use to gather information from a few of the other social circles they share. Two of these “friends” are pyros. They are two very loud, obnoxious, promising brothers from Mexico. They only wear their masks on the field. They carry them around with them on base, same with their suits, but they do not wear them at all hours. I cannot imagine that it is very comfortable or functional.

Q:Hiya! :D I just wanted to ask this quick, since I think Spy (our Spy I mean) might get mad at me if she sees me writing this, but seeing you two opening up even a little on this blog makes me wonder if you couldn't convince her to do the same thing? I mean, I'm sure she doesn't really think you two should be talking about any personal stuff because "it could be used against you" or something like that, but point of a blog is to talk, right? (And don't tell her I wrote this, okay?) - Engie

askmytf2team

Seeing as she is BLU I doubt she will listen to me as I have already commented on OTHER class ask blogs that reveal too much information. My only advice to her is to be careful WHAT personal information you reveal. Though I have spoken of myself I have not given any solid information, nothing concrete, that anyone could follow up on to discover my true identity. There are ways to talk about yourself and still reveal very little. That said… The BLU spy is the harsh looking woman with the straight, white hair, correct? Her face is sort of everywhere so, really, it would not take much digging for me to find out all sorts of things about her. So the fact that I could likely dig up any dirt on her without much trouble might sway her to talk, given that it is always better to reveal secrets on your terms.

- Red

—-

I do not see the point of convincing one who does not wish to speak if they have already resolved not to divulge information. That said, I know of whom you speak. Also have a guess as to who you might be, chérie.

Since Red has basically said everything I would have said, please do give my regards your BLU Spy friend there.

Q:Hi. First of all, I would like to say, that even though I'm a Soldier, I admire you for reasons I won't say. Second, Red, I found insulting (not much) that you consider every one of us Soldiers being ignorant and loud, and I wish to visit France someday. You shouldn't generalize. Now, my question is for both of you: do you really, REALLY, like what you do? Haven't you ever thought of working on something else? Sorry if this is long. Have a nice day.

aliceblack73

Soldier, my dear, you cannot expect me to not generalize. There are FAR too many Soldiers for me not to. Soldiers are in the class they are in because they are best suited to the demands of the class. Most soldiers do not last long, are brash, daring, and maybe short a few cards from the deck. This is what makes then effective soldiers, this is why they are not snipers or spies.

I do enjoy this line of work. I have been doing this sort of work almost my entire life. Before joining RED I have worked with private and public agencies in many different countries (under many different names). While some of these jobs have led to undercover work and different jobs (masseuse among them) that experience only solidified my feelings. This is the career for me and if I live long enough to know I am too old for this work I will retire and likely follow a tired cliché, such as opening a small winery somewhere in Europe.

Honestly,  I can see myself following no other way of life. To think of any divergent path would be to become inefficient in the one that I am set on. Nevertheless, it is a challenging way of life that allows me to become a honed weapon with purpose. A blade is not a weapon unless it has tasted blood, of course. Ienjoy what I do, it is the only thing I have truly ever done, and I intend to follow my path to the end of my life, however the circumstances paint my death.

Hmm… That was rather wordy, wasn’t it? I fear you may be infecting me, my Red.

Also. It is adorable how you deal with Soldiers. Your face when dealing with them is perhaps one of the highlights of my day, don’t you know?

Q:just like to say when you guys snort between your laughter I find it adorable.

Anonymous

I do not snort. Do I? Blu, do I snort?

- Red

—-

Well. It’s nice to know it is appealing to snort. I have never considered it as such though until I knew Red. Hahahaha.
Why yes. You do, my Red. I find it adorable too.

Hey Blu, I want to show you something…

donc-desole:

askredbluspy:

Since we were already online I thought I would show Blu some of the art by Donc-Desole. He liked most of it, but being more on the conservative side, well, you know. She seems to enjoy doing all sorts of things to Blu (I might even say she enjoys it more than me).

Spyrector? Hahaha! Oh my goodness! I am snorting over here, hang on. That is gold!

- Red

I do not even…

~Blu

I am hurt that you do not appreciate how invested I am. Perhaps it’s due-time I spend my energies drawing somebody with a bit more humility.

Humility is for squares.

He’s still laughing… I think you might have succeeded where I have failed. That is, I think you broke Red.

Q:Do you ever try sneaking up on each other?

Anonymous

Is there ever a time when we do not? There have been a few pre-planned run ins, but for the most part any time spent together starts with one of us trying to sneak up on the other and gain the upper hand.

Sometimes it is light; a knife to the throat or the press of cool steel to the back of your skull. Other times less gentle, like being held in his torture room.
That was nerve wracking, Blu. I honestly thought you were going to take my finger off.

- Red

—-

Just as Red put it, it is much more fun to try and sneak up on one another. We are never allowed to become complacent, if anything. It is considerably harder to do with someone as skilled as Red, but I have had my moments. My favorite was our first ‘official’ meeting. Let us just say… Red simply adores Soldiers.

My Red. I wouldn’t do that! I think you need those. For now.

Q:What do you two handsome gentlemen think of /watch?v=cJCGLtnTCYY ?

pyros-choice-ass

"Huh..." "See, I told you."

Although these spies are not myself and Blu respectively, they are quite amusing.

Was Scout getting married to your mother, Blu? Aunt? Sister?

- Red

—-

While I reserve no actual comment about the video (honestly, who makes these things? They make us spies look quite… absurd), I can’t help but laugh at the implications all of you have towards Red and myself.

Also Red… You are so glad that I like you.

~Blu

—-

Well that goes without saying! Work was too boring without you. I am over the moon that we can share such a healthy rivalry and friendship. That is truly a once in a lifetime occurrence, Blu.

- Red

—-

Indeed. I have to say, even my old fun and games pales in comparison. Healthy I feel is… perhaps not quite the appropriate word, my Rouge. But I am quite happy with things as they are.

Also. Scoot over and let me borrow the laptop. I want to check some things.~

~Blu

—-

Well, healthy for two men who have been hired to kill each other. It is all relative.

Hmm? Non. What do you want it for? I will just be looking over your shoulder, mon ami.

- Red

—-

What? I want to check my emails. Also, that is rude, Red. You wouldn’t catch me doing something like that. :)

~Blu

—-

Fine then. I will just read your e-mails later. I am in no rush.

Q:Ah respect BLU spies work, well done ya'll! *looks at the RED spy* Start prayin' boy..

red-engie-girl

You should respect Blu’s work, as he is not untalented. This is something I have known for a long time.
He has caught me off guard on, and off, the battle field just as I have. We are both well aware of the others abilities and need no reminder.

The only one here who needs to worry is yourself. My advice? Watch your sentry, and your back.

- Red

PS: I hate to be the one to tell you this but just because you have an accent does not mean you have to write as you speak; like a country bumpkin.

About

Bonjour mes amis. This is the Red Spy, here to indulge you a little by answering those questions that have been burning you so. Questions about me, or Blu if I can (and he will not).

You also have the much more handsome, much more talented Blu Spy to speak with. Being as talented as I am, I'm sure you are simply brimming with questions so please, ask me anything. But maybe you can ask Red a few questions too. He might get jealous.

This is a Team Fortress 2 based blog centering around the Red and Blu Spies and although they are from TF2, as our characters they have their own names and backstory. Just so you are aware. This blog is run by two people, one who plays Red and another who plays Blu.
